PURPLE POET (CLMHCP30/40000) sat pocket and rolled by easily drawing off in impressive finish.
HIGH BALLER (W4-7) tucked to the quarter, pulled uncovered to the third panel, challenged, dug in but was nailed by the late-charging upset winner.
ROUGH ODDS (CLMHCP30/40000) followed wide and closed gamely chase the all-out favorite home and bears watching.
REGAL SON (CLMHCP30/40000) beaten favorite was parked a long way, found the rail to the third panel, finished gamely once clear mid-lane but never had a chance to fire best shot.
Sunday, July 31
LIGHTNING LEIA (NW4FN) was parked and wide to the quarter, took back, found a tuck, bulled out heading home with good finish but was second best at 9-1.
NARINA HANOVER (NW2500M) had cover, wheeled wide and blew by for impressive score.
MAJOR BATTLE (NW11500M) tip in the final turn and powered home.
DEETZY (NW6000) was parked the mile, chased to the lane, tired but stayed for a check.
Monday, August 1
HEARTBEAT HILL (NW4100) was second over, rallied wide as cover tired and just missed.
MAYWEATHER HANOVER (NW2/2YO) was a handy down the road winner to break maiden and should give it another try in next.
WEATHER VANES (NW1) wired the field and easrned diploma with solid score and will be hard to catch in next.
SCOTTISH (NW2) was impressive breaking maiden two back and scored with smooth late rally to notch second in a row. Took a while to get to the winners circle but he seems like he can take another.
PRIMO VOMO (NW2) made a good uncovered move to the third panel, challenged and was a game 2nd best at 70-1.
Tuesday, August 2
HEZA REAL DIAMOND (NW2500) took the lead, retook and crushed foes in jog to victory.
WILLIE B WORTHY (NW10000) rallied around the weakest, tucked and chased the winner home second best.
BANUS HILL (NW2FM) tucked early, pulled to the third panel, went around stalled cover, cleared and won going away in impressive score.
LIFE ITSELF (NW2/2YOF) wired the field and will give it another try in next.
ONE HUNDRED POOF (NW2/2YO) pulled in the final turn with good finish and should not be ignored.
