JACKIE MOON (NW6400) was parked the mile, got bothered by the early breaker, raced second over, wheeled wide, cleared parked cover, challenged the pace to the end but was held at bay by twice-pressed game winner.
PAT MCGARRY A (NW24000) brushed early to the lead, set a merry pace putting every foe in gasping mode as the veteran dominated. It was his third straight sub 1:50 score.
BLAKEMORE (CLM20000) rallied wide from third over in weak flow and was second best.
SHARE THE WEALTH (NW12500) was parked the mile, pressed the face to the final turn before tiring and should improve with a better trip.
Sunday, July 30
POKER SY (2YO) made a bold third-quarter move on the rim to reach the leader, challenged but tired mid-lane.
TACTICAL MOUNDS (NW4) tucked, settled, brushed and crushed in QED romp.
TWENTY (NW9700) tucked early, pulled and rallied uncovered, challenged the favorite's pace but weakened.
RICH AND MISERABLE (NW2000) second choice went down the road to the last steps getting nailed by the late-closing favorite.
Monday, July 31
SIX STICKS (NW2/2YO) first-time starter was odds-on, sat pocket and rallied gamely to gain win in debut.
BADLAND SHUFFLE (NW1FM) rallied the final turn blew them away in first start. Three-year-old took some time getting here but should be tough again.
SPREE (NW1500) raced second over and closed well to earn second place.
SHARKY BEAR (CLM15000) returned to Pocono and put up quick numbers in wire to wire romp in lifetime-best time.
MISS HALL (NW1FM) finished with good trot to be third in the photo at nearly 45-1 in latest.
Tuesday, August 1
ONLYTHETUFFSURVIVE (CLMHCP7500/10000) sat pocket and was shuffled back as the leader folded in the final turn, rallied late but had missed best shot. Beaten favorite can atone with better trip.
JAKARTA HANOVER (NW2/2YOF) yielded to the quarter, retook passing the half and was a handy winner in strong effort.
BENICIO (W2-6) followed the flow from the half to the stretch, went wide as cover tired, showed some strong pace but just missed.
ERINWOOD YVES (W2-6) tucked early, raced second over the final turn quarter and closed well but it was a few steps too late. Well-bet second choice should not be ignored.
NICALO HANOVER (CLMHCP25/30000) was parked the mile, challenged to the head of the lane before tiring.
