Ken Walters|Aug 01, 2018

Saturday, July 28

CC BIG BOY SAM (CLM10000) was between horses in the lane and in tight quarters till the last steps.

KING OF THE CROP (CLMHCP125/15000) took a tuck, pulled uncovered to the half, challenged, wore down the pacesetting favorite but was nailed by the fresher pocket-sitter.

DIALAMARA (NW6500) sat to the final turn, slipped out, closed strongly but just missed.

UF ROCKIN DRAGON (NW6500) wired the field convincingly and should take another.

Sunday, July 29

GURAL HANOVER (NW24000) tucked early, pulled past the half second over, came wide to chase as cover quit and closed well but go there a few steps late.

TWO AM (NW17500) took the lead, yielded and sat pocket to be second best at every call.

HURRIKANE EMPEROR (NW1) yielded, retook and won impressively looking like he can win a few more.

ANDOVERS TOUCH (NW3000) pulled to the half, tucked the open pocket, rallied gamely at 23-1 but a neck short.

Monday, July 30

MASSACAIA (NW6000) well bet second choice came uncovered, challenged the pace, too a short lead, rallied gamely but tired and was passed by the second over odds-on favorite.

STREET BOY (NW5) tucked early, pulled second over to the third panel and closed with good energy but it was too late.

ELLA ROSE (CLM15000M) tucked early, pulled to the third panel, brushed and crushed.

GLAMORGAL (CLMHCP10/12500FM) wired the field easily and will win again soon.

Tuesday, July 31

VIRGIN EXPRESS (CLM7500) finished between horses and full of pace from third over in last and deserves a look in next.

PRESIDENTE ZETTE (NW4) left, took the top, yielded for the pocket, pulled in tight quarters and broke as the lead changed once again. Beaten favorite should atone in quick order.

SHOOTERS DREAM (NW3000) tucked early, quarter moved to the top and waved goodbye in impressive romp.

HANKS TANK (NW6000) closed a ton from 4th over and will gain a nod soon.
