PAPRIKA BLUE CHIP (CLMHCP20/25000) beaten favorite suffered broken equipment into the first turn and had to pull up in race won for fun by second favorite in romp with none closer than 15 at the end.
PRARIE PANTHER (NW22500) was second over to poor cover and finished strong to be second best to pace-setting odds-on favorite.
ROOTIN TOOTIN (NW12000) pulled early and tucked around a gapper, sat pocket with game rally in tight quarters as the leader shut off the passing lane. Besten favorite should atone.
VERDI D EM (NW3000) trotter had far to come but closed well to pick off all but the favorite to be second best at 20-1.
Sunday, July 21
SPORTS LEGEND (W4-7) tucked, sat the rail to the lane, tipped with game rally but had too far to come.
GYM RAT (NW6900) second favorite was parked to the top, yielded to odds-on favorite and was second best at every call.
MAX (NW7) odds-on favorite was parked to the lead, took over from the very well-bet second favorite and went down the road holding well to be a handy winner.
P L LESTER (CLM15000) sat near the rear to the final turn, came very wide and finshed full of pace picking off all but the winner.
Monday, July 22
FOOL OF IDEAS (CLM7500) sat to the final turn, tipped and rallied gamely but the pocket-sitting winner had the jump on him.
STARSHIP (NW1) showed a strong rally in the final turn over the sloppy rainy track and was also handy enough to change direction and rallied strongly between horses to win his debut in game effort.
BARBS BEACH (NW1FM) was used parked to the lead, ylelded to the favorite's brush, sat pocket and was game to the end in solid effort.
BABY CHEY (NW3000) was fourth over, followed wide, hit stride late with strong finish and earns a long look in next.
DJS MIDNIGHT JAZZ (NW1FM) sat on the rail, angled clear mid lane and finished fast but just missed.
Tuesday, July 23
SALLY FLETCHER (NW6000M) was parked to the top, yielded, got shuffled out, finished with pace and bears watching in next.
NORTHERN SWIFT (NW3000M) went wide around caving cover, cleared, chased, challenged, had aim but tired and a better trip might be more rewarding.
WINTER OLYMPICS (NW2/2YOF) took the top, yielded, sat pocket and was second best on the board and on the track.
FINAL DREAM (NW4) rushed to the top, met modest pressure the last turn and drew off in solid wire to wire score.
