DE LOS CIELOS DEO (PaSS) left to the top, yielded, sat pocket and paced away with strong strides to make it two-for-two in career.

SAVAGE SEELSTER (NW9000) rushed wide passing the quarter, cleared, chased uncovered and tired at 40-1 finishing with broken equipment. Premature moves from longshots always get attention and should not be ignored.

BIG N BAD (CLMHCP30/40000) wired the field in strong front-stepping effort in the rain to win first time this year and earns another look in next.

SIR JOHN F (NW13000) beaten favorite was parked long to the lead, set the clip and could not last over the sloppy track getting outkicked by the pocketsitting well-bet second favorite.

Sunday, July 15

ANNIE HILL (NW1FM) first time starter left, took the lead, yielded, sat an antsy pocket, pulled passing the half, went to the top and waved good bye.

FLEET ADMIRAL (NW1) prohibitive favorite broke at the start, took to the rear, rallied and was a distant third over passing the third call, wheeled wide, finished full of trot.

ST PATRICKS DAY (NW1) left well, yielded and was shuffled, got back up badly behind a dead horse, tipped clear in the lane with good finish but it was much to far to come.

WINSTON (W4-6) set the pace under pressure from two foes, dug in but tired. Beaten favorite knows how to win and could atone in quick order.

BILLS LADY (NW6) tucked to the quarter, came wide in the final turn to clear traffic, kept coming and closed strongly.

Monday, July 16

WELL PLAYED OUT (NW3) pujlled to the half, went around parked cover, cleared, chased, challenged but proved second best at 42-1. Live cover and a better timed move gets it done.

BIG SKY JULIETTA (NW2) was used to the lead, pressed on the lead, put away the chalenge and dug in gamely but could not hold off the tripped-out pocketsitter.

THIRD COAST (NW6000) beaten favoritee was caught far back, made a strong move past the half to clear bad traffic, rushed up, tucked and chased but the early fractions were too much to overcome.

UNBEAMLIEVEABLE (CLMHCP15/20000M) was stung parked to the lead, met pressure, tired and got nailed by a fast closing winner.

PARKIN IN HEAVEN (NW2FM) closed from the back of the pack like a winner and will find the right field soon

Tuesday, July 17

SARONNO (2YO/NW2) saved to the third panel at 19-1, pulled, challenged the favored pacesetter, wore him down but was outkicked by the pocketsitting second choice.

KEYSTONE APACHE (NW4) had poor cover but hit stride mid lane to finish well.

ANNIHILATOR (NW6000) beaten favorite was absolutely brutalized getting stung moving to the lead, set the pace under harsh pressure with a looming three wide challenger adding to the carnage, dug in gamely but tired but did not miss by much.

WARRAWEE UBEAUT (PaStars) was the easiest and most impressive of trainer Ron Burke's five winners on the card and should be followed.
