Ken Walters|Jul 19, 2024

Saturday, July 13

CAROLINA BEACH (CLMHCP20/25000) exploded through the lane from 3rd over to win going away in impressive 2nd straight score.

EPIC ACE (CLMHCP20/25000) romped in career-best jogburger and should score more.

IMAGINARY LINE (CLMHCP30/40000) sat pocket as the well-bet second choice and won going away to win 6th straight beating the pacesetting favorite for 2nd time in a row.

MR LUCKY SOX S (W4-7) lukewarm second favorite was forced wide vying for the lead, broke.

Sunday, July 14

ALL THE CHIPS (CLMHCP15/17500) was parked the mile, challenged to the final turn before folding and gets a long look next race or two.

SOUTHLAND CREME (NW1FM) trotter set a steady clip and was much the best.

MOONLITE DRIVE N (NW2800) took the lead, yielded, raced with broken equipment all the way, tipped in the final turn with cover, rallied and missed by a nose at 16-1.

PAPI GRAD (PaStars) filly brushed and crushed in quickest of the divisions and will be tough to beat.

Monday, July 15

JERSEY BEACH (NW1) tucked around slow leavers, raced third over the final turn and closed well to earn a long look in next race or two.

BADLAND SHUFFLE (NW1FM) took the lead, set her own pace and was much the best. More in store.

MAGIC MELVIN (NW1) made an early move and pulled away in a crushing romp.

JONAH (CLMHCP10/12500) sat last to the third call, followed wide, finished with good pace and bears watching.

MISSION VOYAGE (NW4400) flashed some good late speed from third over the final turn to be second best at the wire.

Tuesday, July 16

THUNDRA (NW2800) avoided bad trouble early, pulled to the third panel and made a bold uncovered rally to win going away on a day when speed was holding.

MISTER BOINGA (NW2800) was parked to the lead but was a much the best winner at nearly 6-1.

ANGELS LEGACY (NW2FM) was first to the lead, yielded and was shuffled, tipped into the lane with good finish between horses but ran out of track.

WAVERLY HANOVER (NW2) tucked early, came uncovered, challenged the odds-on favorite but missed by a nose.
