FORT KNOX (NW13000) left to the top, yielded, retook, set a brutal clip and won impressiveliy to take home the gold.
YS TALLIA (LYNCH/CONS) was in the pocket in the last turn when the speed quit, got backed up, swung out heading home and closed very fast to earn her payday.
DYNAMIC EDGE (NW12000) left, tucked, got shuffled, pulled uncovered and challenged, took the pocket when it opened past the third marker, rallied again but was too leg weary to get it done.
SUMMER SIDE (HEMPT/CONS) rushed to the top, yielded and retook, sat pocket chasing a good clip, lost the pocket but refused to go away and came on again in the lane showing the fight you expect from a Schnittker trainee.
Sunday, July 2
YOU KNOW YOU DO (PaStars) grinded up to the lead past the quarter and was much the best in resounding debut victory.
LUCKY LEONARD (PaStars) was much the best in wire to wire score in All Star action and should take some more victory laps.
INSTRUCTOR (PaStars) followed strong cover to the third panel, tucked the pocket as the lead changed and rallied gamely but just missed.
WILD BILL (PaStars) rolled up uncovered and won going away in convincing visit to the winners circle in racing debut and will not be a stranger there.
Monday, July 3
GRACIES PARADE (CLMHP15/20000M) had a very eventful trip in last. Left to the lead, yielded and was shuffled, pulled, tucked when the pocket opened, rallied back but could not get there in her third move. Should have an easier trip in next.
ITS COMPLICATED (CLMHCP10/12500) was quick to the lead, set a pressed pace, drew away from the chalenge and dug in but the pocket sitter nailed him in the last step or two.
CHOOCHOOCHARLIE (NW2) took an early tuck, let the speed settle, brushed to the top, set a pressed pace when the odds-on favorite challenged but proved up to the challenge winning much safer than the margin would indicate.
FOOL OF IDEAS (NW3000) pulled uncovered, challenged and rolled by strongly leaving plenty in the tank.
Tuesday, July 4
TORNADO TIM (NW9000) finished strongest from third over and just missed.
ROCKLINDAROCK (NW6600M) had a long way to come but finished well and earns a look in next.
MUSTANG ART (NW6000) left to the top, yielded but was shuffled, angled out heading home and closed strong but had lost too many steps. Beaten favorite will atone.
FUTURE SECURED (NW3FM) challenged uncovered and proved game but was outkicked by the second over late finisher.
