Saturday, August 9 SURFSIDE BEACH (NW2900) set a good clip and tired, got nailed on the wire. Beaten favorite should be tighter in next. ODDS ON LIQUIFY (CLM25000) lost the winner's cover as the lead changed, rallied gamely and just missed. CECIL HANOVER (NW12500) went down the road and impressive winner and should take another or two. HESA KINGSLAYER N (CLMHCP20/25000) finished full of pace from third over to win going away and would be no surprise. LOU GRANT (W5-8) tucked early, pulled when the lead changed, challenged to the lane, backed off but came back to be up for 2nd in game effort. SOUTHWIND GENDRY (NW6500) well-bet second choice battled a determined early challenger putting him away passing the half, faced a new challenge the final turn and could not last this time. Should get a better trip in next. Sunday, August 10 MR PENNER (PaStars) pulled to the third call, blew by and won going away. Should be the one to beat in next outing. HAMLET HALL (STALLION) favorite pulled past the half, brushed to the lead, put away the well-bet second choice by headstretch and was a handy winner in swift mile. CAPTAIN UP (NW4900) sat to the rear, rallied the final turn and closed with pace. Should give a better account of himself in next. CAPTAIN JORDAN (STALLION) went wide the final turn, finished strong and nailed it on the wire. Monday, August 11  DR M (CLMHCP125/15000) beaten favorite went down the road under some pressure the last quarter and was nailed by the pocket sitting favorite on a day speed was getting caught. PRIVATE SECTOR (NW2) sat pocket and won going away in latest and should give it another try. HELLO YES HI (NW5500M) pulled the pocket heading home, tipped wide and was outkicked by the game pacesetter and the tripped-out winning favorite. May have had better luck if she had stayed where she was. SCUDO HANOVER (NW4) trotter wired the field impressively and should be a force again. IMGOINGTOJACKSON (NW5) sat pocket second best at every call and at the end to the speed odds-on favorite. Would be no surprise if he collects the 'Cash' in next. TINDRA CHASH S (NW2/2YOF) third choice on the board, left, took the lead, yielded, sat pocket and went by the pacesetting lukewarm favorite. NORDIC DANCER S (NW1) took the lead, yielded, sat pocket as the favorite, rolled by to win going away. WANIA (NW4400) challenged the favored leader but was second best.
