Pocono: Horses to watch from August 8 - August 11

Saturday, August 8
ONLYTHETUFFSURVIVE (CLM15000) tucked early, pulled as the speed settled, challenged to the last step in game uncovered effort to be second in the 3-way photo.
BELIEVEINTHESPIRIT (CLM15000) was absolutely nowhere before making a move nearing the third panel, tucked around sluggards, rallied to enter the picture by headstretch and closed gamely inside but had too much ground to make up.
OUR CORELLI N (NW17500) was long wide and rallied gamely in good effort. Do not overlook in next race or two.
RANGERS SURESHOT (CLMHCP30/40000) rallied wide at 23-1 chasing the red-hot winner to the end but was a bit late.
BRALEY HANOVER (CLMHCP30/40000) followed wide in an impossible effort at over 50-1 but closed best of all to hit the show spot.
Sunday, August 9
SHES PUKKA N (NW225000M) left well, settled for third on the rail, sat to the lane, edged between horses and just missed with strong finish.
GOLDEN QUEST N (NW4FM) made three moves looking for her third straight win but came up a neck short. A better trip should get her back to the winner's circle.
SUDDEN PASSING (NW12000M) tucked, sat three-holed to the lane, tipped, closed gamely to get up for 2nd.
REPEAL OR REPLACE (NW4) took the lead passing the quarter as the second favorite and yielded to the prohibitive's favorite retake and was second best throughout while cutting into the margin in deep stretch.
Monday, August 10
ADMIRAL BAILEY (CLM10000) had to navigate wide around a dead flow in the final turn but finished well once he had clear sailing.
HIGH MINDED (STALLION) second choice came uncovered, tucked the pocket passing the third panel and was second best to the even-money pacesetting favorite.
JK DISARRAY (STALLION) well-bet second choice yielded twice, rallied a third time but was second in the photo to the odds-on favorite.
JULIA C (NW1FM) grinded to the top in no hurry, took the lead and was a handy down-the-road winner.
Tuesday, August 11
TRUMP THAT (NW3000) tucked and sat three-holed, closed strong inside to get up for second to the odds-on pacesetter.
SERIOUSLY HANOVER (STALLION) left, settled for a tuck, pulled past the half, brushed and won in handy fashion.
BUTTER TOFFEE (NW3000) was buried by the top of the stretch, angled out, came wide and finished strong but had too far to come.
DREAMFAIR CHARRO (NW3000) tucked to the quarter, pulled at the half, challenged, took the lead early stretch, dug in but was nailed by the second-over winner.
SUNUMA BEACH (STALLION) was a three-move winner in latest and should be tough in next.
