Pocono: Horses to watch from August 7 - August 10

Ken Walters|Aug 13, 2021

Saturday, August 7

DREAM OF LUCK (CLMHCP20/25000) met pressure a long way in front-stepping effort, dug in but tired. Beaten favorite can atone in next.

BAMSKI (CLMHCP20/25000) was parked and challenged a long way before tiring at 57-1 and could get luckier in next.

PUERTO RICO (NW3000) was second-over the final turn with good late trot.

ALBERGO HANOVER (CLMHCP30/40000) wired the field in handy fashion in latest.

Sunday, August 8

CON AIR HALL (NW4000) closed strongly to win going away on a night when front-steppers were winning most of the time.

BARON MICHAEL (CLMHCP10/12500) was second best on the track and on the board in uncovered bid chasing the front-stepping favorite.

IMAGINEUWITHOUTME (CLM7500) drew away in wire-to-wire romp and should take another.

GALLERIA GAL (NW17500M) closed with good energy from third over in latest and earned a long look in next.

Monday, August 9

SHADOWS DANCERS (NW2/2YOFM) brushed and crushed in latest and should be in the winners circle again quickly.

MEXICAN HANOVER (STALLION) roared home to win going away at 13-1 from 3rd over in her division.

LYONS SERENITY (STALLION) tucked, settled, brushed and was best in quickest of the three divisions and will be hard to take down.

BILLIE BLUE (NW2500) was in the pocket but shuffled into the stretch as the leader folded, rallied strong but had lost the moment. Beaten favorite should atone.

Tuesday, August 10

MIKIBYTHESEASIDE (NW4) went wide to clear dead cover, chased uncovered and closed in too late.

CHING CHING LUCY (NW4) trotter had cover the final turn and closed best of all to finish second and earns a long look.

BILLIE CLAIRE (NW2FM) was a handy down the road winner in last and might take another.

BALDAGUIN (W4-7) followed wide around dead wood and finished strong to win going away on a night speed was holding.
