WAY TO GO CAPTAIN (NW4) was out the final turn, flashed some good late speed and should get a winners circle photo op soon.
TEAM MAC (CLMHCP20/25000) took the lead, yielded, got shuffled, tipped the final turn with good finish.
CAROLINA BEACH (CLMHCP20/25000) was third over in a poor outer flow, rallied wide the final turn and closed with good pace to earn a look in next.
STONEBRIDGE KARIS (CLMHCP20/25000) tucked early, got the shuffle, tipped from the back in the final turn, finished fast to win going away and can take another.
Sunday, August 4
ODDS ON NO LIMIT (STALLION) wired the field in handy fashion in quick mile and can take more.
ASPHALT (NW2/2YOF) closed strong to win going away in last.
ROCKIN JAMES (STALLION) was parked to the lead, yielded to the favorite and was second best at every call at odds of nearly 15-1.
PAPIS ROCKET (PaSS) was third over, lost all cover, continued and closed well for 2nd.
Monday, August 5
SENSATIONAL (NW2/2YO) lived up his name and romped to victory.
AMERICAN WARRIOR (NW1) went down the road as at 3-1 and buried the favorite who sat the pocket throughout.
SUDDEN IMPACT (NW2) rallied uncovered in a speed last half and just missed in the photo.
IMA DIAMOND BABE (NW6400) finished full of trot from an impossible 4th over in latest and deserves a long look in next.
HERMOSO REY (NW1) grinded up uncovered chasing the odds-on favorite and earned a second-place finish.
Tuesday, August 6
BULLY BOY HILL (NW4500) set a fast clip and was a strong front-stepping winner.
LAURIE LEE (NW4400M) wired the field and was much the best.
FEELIN WESTERN (NW5000) left, challenged, took a pocket tuck, got shuffled to the three-hole, slipped out heading home, angled, found room, came home fast and just missed.
BLINDING LIGHTS AS (NW2FM) took the top, yielded, inherited the lead when the leader broke, met stern pressure from the prohibitive favorite, yielded past the third call but gutted out second in game effort.
MY AUGUST MOON A (NW7000M) was parked the mile, challenged a long way before backing off past the third panel. Should get a better trip in next race or two.
