THE CANDYMAN CAN (CLMHCP30/40000) won from off the pace two back and came back in latest in a quick-stepping front-end score.
CURIOUS CORTEZ (CLMHCP30/40000) was an impressive 3-move winner in last and will be hard to beat in next.
AMAZON (NW5000) was third over and closed strong to be second best in latest outing.
K RYAN BLUECHIP (NW10000) well-bet second choice was parked the mile challenging the favorite in game effort. They wore each other out and the tripped -out pocket-sitting winner went by them both.

NEWS WATCH (CLM7500) was second over to dying cover in the final bend, got blindswitched, cleared late and never had a chance.
BETTING HANNAH (NW2/2YOF) finished full of pace inside but just missed.
ROLLING GOING GONE (NW9000M) had cover the final turn and closed well but late at 50-1.
PANSYS IMAGE (NW26000M) finished strong but late from third over and should nail a win soon.
Monday, August 30
OCTAVE (NW1/2-3YO) got away into the pocket into a quick opening panel, rallied to the half, took the lead at nearly 10-1, faced pressure the last panel and was second best to the uncovered favorite.
CAVIART CARMEL (NW1FM) yielded for the pocket and won going away for easy score.
A BETTOR BEACH (NW6200) tipped in the final turn and rallied gamely but just missed.
BLOW A CLOUND N (NW3000) well-bet favorite went down the road impressively while putting away the last-turn chalenge of the pocket-sitting second choice and can take another.
Tuesday, August 31
GRAPPLE HANOVER (NW5000) took some time off and came back with impressive wire to wire score.
SO LONG HANOVER (W4-7) followed wide the final turn and closed well but outkicked by a 70-1 shot flying up the rail.
PATSVILLE (NW4FM) beaten favorite was parked to the lead and met determined pressure, got away heading home but tired.
MON AMOUR (NW4) wired the field and drew away easily.
SERRANO VOLO (NW4) got away well, yielded past the half to the odds-on favorite, rallied gamely inside and just missed to the odds-on favorite.
