Saturday, August 16 THIRSTY THURSDAY (HEMPT/CONS/1) got in tight, broke, bothered a foe or two, settled, rallied strong and just missed but was taken down. MAKES SENSE (HEMPT/CONS/2) followed the wide flow into the lane and powered to victory on a day when most winners were on the lead or in the pocket.  WARRAWEE MICHELLE (SEBASTIAN K) odds-on favorite challenged the last quarter and proved best to the lukewarm second favorite. HAPPY JACK B (BEAL/CONS/1) rallied around the tiring pocket horse to the third call, tried again but was second best to the odds-on favorite. Sunday, August 17 CAVIART QUEEN EMMA (STALLION) flashed some good late speed from second over and should not be ignored. GINGER TREE LEX (PaStars) wired the field by open lengths and can take another. ISLANDGIRL HANOVER (PaStars) went down the road and was a very confident wrapped up winner. HUNGER STRIKE (CLM25000) followed wide from third over but got stuck deep the final turn, finished well to be second at 17-1. PRTYNPROUD HANOVER (NW2/2YOF) pulled to the third call, brushed and crushed and can score more. Monday, August 18 IM THE ONE (NW5) finished full of pace flying up the rail and just missed in last. CHARMING VIXEN (NW5500M) brushed to the third call and jogged away in total-domination romp.  SWEET PARLAY (NW5) came uncovered at 30-1 and rallied gamely to just miss last time around the oval.  C ME B ME (NW1FM) was parked to the lead but that was the total excitement as she blew the field away as easily as the board indicated she would. More to come. OK MY WAY (NW1FM) finished strongest from second over but ran out of track. Should score in next. Tuesday, August 19 DAIQUIRI HANOVER (NW5) trotter was bet off the board, brushed when the speed settled and won easily leaving plenty in the tank.  NOB HILL  FLASH (NW4400) trailed, followed wide, stacked four wide and closed strong to be second best. EXPEDITED SERVICE (NW1) well bet second choice tucked early, pulled to the third call, challenged and won with authority putting the pacesetting favorite. BALLROOM BASH (NW2) was shuffled the final turn behind a breaker as the lead changed, rallied late and could get luckier in next. CROWN MONARCH (NW4500) sat last, toured the track as stablemate set the pace. Barn and driver know how to win so a better effort is upcoming.
