Ken Walters|Apr 28, 2023

Saturday, April 22

BILLY HALEY N (NW23000) sat pocket and was second in the photo. Needed the race and should be tighter in next.

IDIOSYNCRATIC (WEISS) lost cover as the lead changed the final turn but won going away with strong finish.

ANGELINO (W3-7) went to the top and yielded, sat pocket but was shuffled when the lead changed into the lane, rallied late and could get luckier in next.

Sunday, April 23

IM BENICIO A (CLMHCP30/4000) tucked to the quarter, pulled to the third panel, challenged the longshot leader but was held at bay and proved second best at 13-1.

BARNEY HANOVER (NW1) went to the top, yielded and was shuffled, cleared into the lane with game finish and just missed.

HP XANADU (NW2500M) tucked the early pocket, got shuffled, rallied late to get up for 3rd. Should not be ignored.

PRAIRIE FAMOUS (NW1) was third over the final turn with strong late foot and bears watching.

TWO PROUD (NW4FM) yielded, retook, set a steady clip and won for fun.

Monday, April 24

EAZY HUNTING (NW1FM) saved to the final turn, squeezed out, rallied late and bears watching.

SPORTSMANSHIP (CLMHCP75/10000) took the lead and yielded, got shuffled, pulled to the third panel, brushed and crushed.

DANCEHALL KING (NW1) was second over to poor cover and finished with good trot to be third in tight photo.

MANDRILL (NW1FM) moved to the third panel and rallied impressively to win at first asking.

Tuesday, April 25

ALEXAS SUNSHINE (NW2FM) yielded twice, sat pocket, battled to the end in valiant effort.

VARNEY (NW4200) slipped out into the lane, hit best stride a stride too late.

STICKLER HANOVER (NW6500) was bet like a winner in first start of the year and did not disappoint.

KADDARI (WEISS) is two-for-two starting career and will be hard to beat in next.

WEDDING DANCER (NW2FM) tucked, brushed and crushed in first start of the year.
