Saturday, April 18

BLOWIN SMOKE (CLMHCP20/25000) was parked the mile from post 8, challenged to the stretch before tiring. Beaten favorite can atone in next.

JUSTINIAN (WEISS) yielded, retook, put away a weak challenger and was an easy winner in quickest of three divisions.

VIZCAVA (WEISS) beaten favorite in same race was in the three hole as the pocket horse caved, rallied late but had too much ground to make up.

MYSWEETBOYMAX (NW13500) was in some traffic the final turn, slipped out, went wide, closed in strongly and just missed.

TWIN B THRILLER (WEISS) suffered broken equipment the final turn then made a break. Beaten favorite would be no surprise.

Monday, April 20

CAPTAIN VODKA (WEISS) wired the field easily never in doubt.

CAPAIN MICAH (WEISS) yielded twice and was second best on the board and on the track to the pacesetting favorite.

ROCKET CITY SMITTY (NW1) finished well from third over at over 60-1 on a day when speed ruled and bears watching.

BEER CHEESE (CLM12500) was third in three-horse photo two back, sat pocket this time and was second best in two-horse photo. Got claimed and progression indicates being first in one-horse photo can be next.

GRAZIA (NW1FM) rolled along at her own clip and was a handy winner in what amounted to a workout.

Tuesday, April 21

B NICKING (NW4000) went down the road much the best with plenty left.

MISS JUM JABBER (WEISS) rushed up, challenged and was a going away speedy winner in her division.

OSTRO HANOVER (CLM15000) tucked, gapped, rallied late and was second to the veteran winner. Should not be ignored.

RENEWABLE (NW2) sat pocket, had a chance but took a bad step late and lost his chance.

CHUPPAH HANOVER (NW1) trotter left, tucked pocket, got a bad shuffle, tipped, rallied wide, closed stoutly but the shuffle cost him his best shot.

GAMELA HANOVER (NW1) was parked to the lead, went down the road and never looked back in first-start romp.
