TRIFECTA HANOVER (NW1) tucked in the final turn at 16-1, rallied inside and took a late lead but was nailed as the pacesetter came back in last step.

ACTION SHOT (NW1) was second best in wire-to-wire effort in season debut to the odds-on pocketsitting first-time starter.

MONI BOOK (NW1) was bet like a winner in debut and did not disappoint.

MUSCLE GENE (NW4000) improved to the pocket in the final turn, tipped heading home with game rally but was second best at 60-1.

KOOTENAY SANTANA (NW6000) odds-on favorite sat pocket, won going away and can take another.

KNIGHTS GUARD (NW2) tucked early, brushed when the speed settled, proved second best to the uncovered bid of the second favorite.
