Pocono: Horses to watch from Apr. 12 - Apr. 15

Ken Walters|Apr 17, 2015

Sunday, April 12

FOR YOU ALMOSTFREE (NW5000) brushed to the third panel and was much the best.

AMERICAN ALIVE (NW1/3-4FM) went down the road and drew off easily.

RITZY GAL (NW1/3-4FM) tucked early, got a mild shuffle, cleared between horses in mid lane and rushed home strongly to nail it on the wire.

PAULAS BRADY (NW5000) was second over in the final turn, got bothered and forced wide, settled and closed strongly.

EMERY VERN (CLM5000) tucked twice along the way, settled in the pocket, rallied all out but was second best.

Tuesday, April 14

SWISHNFLICK (NW125000) lost his chance when he jumped off stride before the start. Beaten favorite finished well but had much too far to come.

HEAVENLY KNOX (NW5) yielded, retook, set a good clip and failed. Beaten favorite should atone in next.

BUFFALINO HANOVER (NW7000) came uncovered and was much the best in last.

GD AIRLINER (NW4500) wend down the road in last and came up a neck short to tripped-out winner.

Wednesday, April 15

WELL WELL WELL (NW1/3-4YO) sat pocket to the lane, tipped, broke maiden easily and well connected youngster 'will will will' win a few more in near future.

EXPECT A LOT (NW1/3-4YOFM) followed wide in the final turn, got stuck out there a long way but finished strongly. Maybe next time you can expect more.

CLIENT NINE (CLMHCP10/12500) beaten favorite battled the speed the last half mile, appeared beaten mid lane but came back on and just missed. Should atone with any kind of luck in next trip.

JETS ARE ON (NW10000M) took the lead, yielded and was shuffled, sat the three hole to the lane, rallied gamely between horses but had hit her best stride a step too late.

COLLAGE (NW1000M) was second over and hit her best stride late. Too well connected to think she can't take one soon.
