Ridden by J.D. Acosta for trainer Jeff Runco and owner Silverton Hill, Pocket Gift ($6.20) ran 4 1/2 furlongs in 52.97 seconds for her third win in nine starts. Her best previous finish in a stakes was a third in last fall’s Maryland Million Lassie.
Practical Ideas, who led until the last jump, was a neck in front of Joanne Elizabeth, who was bidding for her fifth straight win.
