Pleasant Acres Stallions releases 2016 fees

Advertised fees for the eight-horse roster of Pleasant Acres Stallions in Morriston, Fla. will remain largely unchanged in 2016, as the operation unveils its new stallion facility for the coming breeding season.

The only Pleasant Acres stallion to stand for a fee different from his 2015 rate will be Grade 2 winner Handsome Mike, who rises from $4,000 to $5,000. The 7-year-old son of Scat Daddy’s first foals will arrive in 2016.

Joe and Helen Barbazon, owners of Pleasant Acres Stallions will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony and gala to inaugurate the farm’s new stallion facility on Jan. 16, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern. The event will include dinner, a cash bar, live music, and drawings for seasons to members of the farm’s stallion roster.
