Plans undecided for big-Beyer maiden winner Favorite Outlaw

HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Trainer Steve Asmussen said plans are to be determined for Favorite Outlaw, who won a Jan. 29 maiden special weight sprint at Oaklawn with a Beyer Speed Figure of 95.
The horse is owned by Arkansas residents Alex and JoAnn Lieblong.
“He’s a very good horse,” Asmussen said. “I spoke with the Lieblongs, and we’re going to let his training dictate where he runs back.
“He’s another very fast Maclean’s Music.”
Favorite Outlaw is a 3-year-old colt out of the mare Coco Belle, who was a three-time stakes winner and earner of nearly $500,000.
◗ Oaklawn will race through the holiday Monday this week, making for the first four-day race week of the meet. The track has been racing Fridays through Sundays. The next four-day race weeks at Oaklawn will be in March.
