Plans pending for Minit to Stardom

Minit to Stardom equaled her career-best Beyer Speed Figure – a 94 – with her powerful win in the $100,000 Louisiana Premier Night Matron on Saturday night at Delta Downs. The number matched the one she earned for her victory in the Grade 2 Honorable Miss last July at Saratoga.
Trainer Jose Camejo said Tuesday that plans are pending for Minit to Stardom, a daughter of Star Guitar who races for her breeder, Brittlyn Stables.
“Right now, we don’t have anything in mind for her,” Camejo said. “She came back good. We’ll see how she acts the next couple of weeks and start looking for a race. It will depend on her. We’ll wait for her.”

Minit to Stardom is back at Fair Grounds, Camejo said.
Minit to Stardom was a 3 1/2-length winner of the Matron, covering five furlongs in a quick 57.73 seconds. Alex Cintron came in to ride the mare that he also piloted in the Honorable Miss. The win at Delta pushed Minit to Stardom’s earnings past $500,000.
