Pimlico: Spring Rush wires

Spring Rush ($17.80) scored a wire-to-wire, 2 1/2-length victory in the $50,000 Skipat Stakes, the closing-day feature at Pimlico.

Spring Rush, trained by Mark Shuman, was ridden by Steve Hamilton, the meet's leading rider for the second straight year, and is owned by Michael Gill. Hamilton finished the eight-week meet with 50 winners. Gill had a meet-high 25 winners.

Dale Capuano saddled 15 winners, two more than Scott Lake, King Leatherbury, and Ferris Allen.
