Saturday's $75,000 Skipat Stakes at Pimlico was a battle throughout between Bronze Abe ($9) and Skip the Print, with Bronze Abe winning by a neck. The duo battled through fractions of 23.51 seconds for a quarter-mile and 46.23 for a half-mile before completing six furlongs in 1:10.97.
Shiny Sheet finished third.
Bronze Abe is trained by Grover Delp and was ridden by Erick Rodriguez.
