The Pickett Factor won his debut at Oaklawn Park in February and then was third in his first start against winners at Louisiana Downs in May. He enters Friday’s race, for nonwinners of three races lifetime, off a 5 1/4-length win over first-level allowance rivals June 12 at Louisiana Downs. The Pickett Factor set the pace over seven furlongs and earned a career-high Beyer Speed Figure of 81. He is the one to catch Friday. Donnie Meche has the mount for Melissa Cantacuzene and trainer Ralph Irwin.
