Pick six carryover reaches $190,452
INGLEWOOD, Calif. - There is a carryover of $190,452 for Sunday's pick six at Hollywood Park.
An upset in Saturday's last race by Pachiro ($54.60) proved elusive for bettors.
Sunday's pick six covers the fourth through nine races. The races include two turf races, three sprints on the main track, and one race over 1 1-16 miles.
There are no early scratches in the fourth through seventh races.
The fourth race is a claimer over six furlongs for 3-year-old fillies that has drawn nine runners. In an open race, Taylor Series is the 3-1 favorite on the morning-line.
The first turf race of the pick six is the fifth race, a sprint for $35,000 to $40,000 claimers. The field of 12 lacks a standout, with Royal Robe (4-1) and Los Solano, Briadier Jones and Is It True Mex, all at 9-2, expected to attract support.
The lone route race in the pick six is the sixth race, run over 1 1-16 miles for $28,000 to $32,000 claimers. The field of nine is led by Dinan, who is trained by Jeff Mullins. Dinan is 5-2 on the morning-line.
In the seventh race, Sweet Stepper (5-2), Golden Dragon (3-1) and Expresso Bay (9-2) head a one-mile turf race for $70,000 to $80,000 claimers.
The Nursery Stakes for 2-year-old fillies has a field of 10. Fortunate Event, Bee a Lion, Maria's Posada and Princess Godiva were scratched from the also-eligible list on Saturday. The field is led by the first-time starter Bella Banissa and the impressive maiden race winner Swiss Please.
In the last race, the also-eligibles - That's Close and Geli's Pie - are scratched, leaving a field of 14 in a maiden claimer over 6 1-2 furlongs.
