Perfect Style cruises in El Paso Times Handicap

Perfect Style was always prominent for a 4 3/4-length win over Untraveled in the $50,000 El Paso Times Handicap at Sunland Park on Sunday. It was another 1 1/4 lengths back in third to the late-running Rousanne.
The El Paso Times, a 6 1/2-furlong race for 3-year-old fillies, was the first stepping-stone on the road to the $200,000 Sunland Park Oaks in March.
Perfect Style ($9.40) took over through a half-mile in 44.73 seconds, and went on to cover the distance on a fast track in 1:16.87. Alfredo Juarez Jr. was aboard for Round Up Racing and trainer Bart Hone.
Perfect Style is a daughter of Majesticperfection and was bred in Indiana by Michael Rainier.
