Perfect to Please the one to beat in Remington Park Turf Sprint

Perfect to Please defeated some of the best sprinters on the grounds in his most recent start, and that performance makes him the one to beat Friday night in the $70,000 Remington Park Turf Sprint.
The race, which will be run over five furlongs on the grass, is for 3-year-olds and up bred in Oklahoma. It will mark the turf debut of stakes winners Welder and Rockport Kat. The race also serves as the third leg of a 50-cent late pick four that has a minimum guaranteed pool of $60,000.
Perfect to Please won over the Remington turf in his last start on Aug. 25, completing a five-furlong allowance race in a blazing 55.81 seconds. He proved three-quarters of a length best and defeated a field that included fellow stakes winners Counterforce and Wings Locked Up.
“He had a very, very impressive run,” said Veronica Griggs, who trains Perfect to Please. “He broke very sharp and he laid a lot closer than he normally does, which helped him finish even stronger because it was a very stellar bunch he ran against.”
