Peck: Pick three play for Aqueduct on Sunday, April 26
The last three races of the weekend at the Big A intrigue the most. Let's try a pick three.
Race 8
FENWICK HALL is versatile enough to lead or rate, and that should lead to a favorable setup. She is the lone "A" for me, as the main contenders, FREUDIE ANNE and THE LEWIS DINNER, figure to be underlays. Freudie Anne is working well toward her return, and she has good back figures, but she is questionable, of course, after she was eased in her most recent. The Lewis Dinner is the one to catch and beat, but she never has been this far.
A's: 3
B's: 6, 9
C's: NONE
Race 9
KLEPTOCRAT is in good form and projects to get a good trip behind the speeds. KISS CAT has consistent figures and may wake up on the drop in price. UTOPIAN WIDE is wide but has high speed and may be able to shake loose if aggressively handled early on. I'll also use LITTLE GIDDING, who drops back to the level of the claim two back.
A's: 1
B's: 8, 9, 10
C's: NONE

Race 10
HOLY INVADER hasn't been on the turf for some time but all three of his grass races are solid as he posted strong Beyers in two of them and encountered serious trouble in the other. Adding to the appeal, he figures to be overlooked in the wagering. ARC ABOVE is easy to like and has to be used despite the fact that he figures to be over-bet. ROPE A DOPE ships up from Florida and is eligible to make the last run with a clean trip and some quick early splits.
A's: 1, 2
B's: 10
C's: NONE
