Peck: Parx pick four for Saturday, Sept. 19

It’s the biggest day of the year at Parx, and the lone pick four on the card features an interesting sequence.

RACE 7: STREET BABE merits respect off that score in his first start off the short rest, a good sign given that his prior three starts against better were not all that good. FREESTYLER is exceptionally game, he loves to win, and he's proven over this course. ENCRYPTION has good tactical speed and back figures that are good enough to win this.
A's: 1, 2
B's: 7
C's: NONE

RACE 8: LIMOUSINE LIBERAL and GRAND BILI come out of the King’s Bishop and stand out off that last race. The former is clearly the one to beat, having run second there while earning a 104 Beyer Speed Figure, but the latter has to be respected off his effort there as well as the win two back against a good field.
A's: 3
B's: 4, 7
C's: NONE

RACE 9: Going deep in the Cotillion, which came up very strong. TARA'S TANGO, part of an entry with KEEN PAULINE, didn't run to her best figures in that last one, but she beat older, and it was yet another solid effort. STROKE PLAY gets tested for class, but she could be this good. PEACE AND WAR was second in the Delaware Oaks, and though she was behind Calamity Kate there, she should get an improved race flow today. I'M A CHATTERBOX is another who ran well in her latest, closing into a controlled pace. DON'TFORGETABOUTME steps way up here, but that breeze back on Sept. 5 is a hint that she may be set for a move forward. Intentionally taking a shot against both Take Charge Brandi and Embellish the Lace, who could ruin each other's chances with a race-long duel.
A's: 8
B's: 1, 7
C's: NONE

RACE 10: FROSTED may be the best horse in the country riding a four-race losing streak. He's had some tough trips, and he ran well in all of his losses since the win in the Wood Memorial, and with any kind of trip, he should be a handful in the Pennsylvania Derby. UPSTART is clearly a threat, coming off decent efforts in the Haskell Invitational and Travers. With Gimme Da Lute scratched, MR. Z becomes the main speed and a threat to steal this.
A's: 3, 9, 10
B's: NONE
C's: NONE
