Settled for the show as the favorite in this starter allowance event but he was at a tactical disadvantage, given the lack of pace in this field. Can make amends in his return, likely at a better price.

Was left with too much to do here, racing last of the six in the opening stages, and though he failed to threaten behind the two-speed exacta he did show some late foot. Needs to stay closer in his return vs. turf sprinters.
