Peck: Keeneland pick four for Saturday, Oct. 29
For me, the last pick four of the Keeneland fall meet hinges on a single at a price in the third leg of the sequence.
RACE 7: DOMINANT CLASS drops in class for her second start. NO LACA TALENT debuts for Wesley Ward and meets a seemingly average field. PRETEND goes for a tag for the first time. HIPPOLYTE has some very interesting works for her first start (4).
RACE 8: SALAMA moved prematurely when sent longer in her first start off the short break, and she figures to improve here with a better-timed run. WALKING THE KITTEN is in good form for Mike Maker and is the one to beat in her third start off the short rest (2).
RACE 9: Taking a stand with HAWAAKOM, who ran a very good race to finish second behind loose pacesetter Noble Bird in his latest. He should get a much better race flow in the Fayette Stakes, and that can make all the difference for him today as he looks to turn the tables on the heavy favorite (1).
RACE 10: EKHLAAS has some of the best figures in the field. UNBRIDLED OUTLAW was game in defeat in his first start since July. BAIRES BOY is a longshot with a shot to improve, as he's been working well toward his return (3).
THE PLAY: 3, 4, 7, 8 / 1, 7 / 1 / 2, 9, 10 = 24 combinations ($12 ticket).
