Peck: How I'll play Saturday's late pick four at Delta Downs

RACE 6: ZYANARA comes off an easy win going seven panels but she's certainly proven going a mile, and she should get ample pace here. MALINE has won two straight and she's another who figures to benefit from the expected race flow. KISS THAT DUDE has steady figures, outside of the effort two back where she was pace compromised, but that doesn't figure to be the case here (3).

RACE 7: OURS TO RUN is the one to beat and will be a single for some. But SARGE'S DAUGHTER is in very good form and was a sharp winner when last seen. LOVELY CHARLIE makes her third start of her form cycle and could move forward. LA MISTAKE has won five of seven career starts (4).

RACE 8: MR. FOUR SEASONS is perfect in two starts and he may well once again sit a perfect trip behind the speeds. JIMI'S A STAR is easy to like, having run 1st or 2nd in each of his last six starts. SHANG has speed but can also rate, and that versatility should mean he works out a trip regardless of race flow (3).

RACE 9: Going relatively deep in the last leg, leaving out morning-line favorite Givemeaminit due to his poor record at this distance. UNDERPRESSURE was a nose short in this race last year and certainly merits inclusion, but a longshot like SOCIAL MISFIT or THEORYINTOPRACTICE could juice up this sequence with the right kind of trip. AFLEET ASCENT ships in from California with speed, and his best Beyers give him credibility (4).
