Peck: How I'd play the Rainbow 6 at Gulfstream for Saturday, March 26
On Saturday, there is a mandatory payout of Gulfstream Park's Rainbow 6 pool, which could reach more than $10 million. Here's one look at how to hit the bet, using a bankroll of less than $300, which is within the reach of many small syndicates:
RACE 7
SIR DUDLEY DIGGES is the one to beat, and surely a single for some, but I'll also include MIGHTY MO, who returns off a layoff for Bill Mott, and FASTNET LATINA, who closed into a slow pace in his bow. ROYAL SNIPER, a firster from the Mark Casse barn, merits a look if he takes some action.
A's: 4, 8, 10
B's: 5
C's: NONE
RACE 8
A typically competitive turf sprint which will likely come down to trips and race flow. I'll use most of the proven turf sprinters with the best recent turf-sprint Beyers - DEER DOG, GREAT ATTACK, NOBLE PRINCE and LITTLE BAKER - but I'll also include TEXAS RUSTLER, who checked late in his latest.
A's: 7, 12
B's: 1, 2, 3

RACE 9
PRIME TIME TOMMY fits well off his best figures. UPPERTON drops and could move forward off a decent bow. MR COUPONS rallied well enough when second in his latest.
A's: 1, 11
B's: 2
C's: NONE
RACE 10
EL CICLON is an obvious threat off his latest, when he nearly scored at 33-1. PARMEL LANDING has some of the better Beyers in this field. DECISIONSDECISIONS is drawn wide but is speedy, and should work out a favorable trip.

B's: 6

RACE 11
HARMONIZE is a prime contender as she makes her seasonal debut. LIRA should be considered the one to beat as her Beyers continue to rise.
A's: 4, 6
B's: NONE
C's: NONE
RACE 12
First-timer RUNNING HOPLITE has strong connections and this doesn't look to be a deep group. SIR MAGU was well bet for his debut but had some early trouble. GIANT INKA may be best on this surface. APPA could improve here with some pace to chase.
A's: 5, 8
B's: 7, 11
C's: NONE
