Taking a look at Saturday's early pick four at Tampa, races 2 through 5: RACE 2: SIR HIGGINS looks tough in this opening leg, coming off a near-miss under these same conditions a few weeks back. He has speed but can also rate, and that should lead to a favorable trip. He's the sole "A" on the ticket. WILL RUNAWAY merits inclusion after a decent local debut in his latest, and DANZO posted a Beyer in his graduation last time that gives him credibility in his first start vs. winners. HE HAD A SECRET and DRAFTABLE are "C's." She was moving well enough through the lane to suggest she's better than she showed in that race. Using BELLA LINDA and HONESTA to a lesser extent, as they have relatively comparable figures; the former had an excuse in her latest when she was bumped around a bit while the latter ships in for a high-percentage outfit. Morning-line favorite BLUE MISTRESS and longshot ONE SHOT will be "C's." A's: 1 B's: 3, 4 C's: 6, 8   RACE 4: CARAMELITO was taken off the pace in each of his last two starts but he can be expected to be more involved today, despite the fact that he removes the blinkers, as there's not a great deal of speed in this field. This is his first start for a tag and he switches to Camacho. DANCERONTHEBEACH is the main threat, and the lone "B" in this leg. He's easy to like after a pair of near misses in his first two career starts. I'll also use STRUM AND PLUCK and SHANDIAN to a lesser extent. A's: 2 B's: 7 C's: 3, 4   RACE 5: Going deepest in this final leg, which seems to be the most competitive race in the sequence, at least on paper. DOC KANE rises in price but he has won two straight and he fits well based on his figures. DOUBLE DEEP, on the other hand, hasn't won since the summer but now drops in class. RESIDENT was a decent 2nd when he last raced over this strip, two back, and was overmatched in the slop at Gulfstream last time. Those are the main three, but also using MERANGO TANGO, LEM ME TEL YA and PERFETTO as backups.
