Though the early races on the Gulfstream card look pretty formful, there may be some value in the middle part of the program. I'll try to hit the pick three, starting with race 7. Race 7 FAST MOON is an easy horse to like after the game effort in her debut, but I'm also intrigued by the works for HOT HOUSE ROSE, and she should offer value. Also including fellow firsters GRACEQUINNANNAMADY, ROBILLARD, and ROMANTIC FOREVER, the latter relegated to "B" status as opposed to "A" only due to the tough inside draw. A's: 4, 8 B's: 1, 3, 6 C's: NONE Race 8 MY CELESTE ran a big race in that sprint debut and figures to appreciate the stretch-out, especially given that there's not a lot of obvious pace in the field. Also making ITSONLYACTINGDAD an "A" based on that bow, and she's another who figures to use her early speed to her best advantage. Spreading underneath more in this leg than either of the other two as this does appear to be the most wide-open of the trio. A's: 9, 10 B's: 4, 5 C's: 6, 7, 8 Race 9 MARKET MAGIC adds blinkers after a narrow loss, and with any improvement, she's going to be a handful. WORKERBEE does like to run second, but her turf Beyers make her a big threat, and she may be overlooked after that debacle on a sloppy track in her most recent.
