RACE 8

Fully understand that TENNESEE (#7) can win this and ruin most of the value of this play, but I'll take a shot with HELIODORO (#3), who makes his second start for Nick Zito complete with works that suggest he's better than he showed in his debut. Also, POOL WINNER (#8) has some decent works for trainer Alan Goldberg (3).

RACE 9

PERNICIOUS (#2) closed well enough in that last try despite mild fractions up front. TIGER BOURBON (#3) merits respect off that return Beyer. MARCH REWARD (#7) looks like the one to beat, as the slightly shorter distance should work to his advantage (3).

RACE 10

NIGHT SONG (#5) ran a big race for the place last time after a slow start cost her early position. She makes her third start off the layoff and should be very tough here if she runs to her best figures (1).

RACE 11

Very tough to plot this maiden special weight turf event, and it seems best to wrap it up with an "all." With a favorite singled in leg 3, we'll need a price to spice it up, but that certainly seems possible, as this race is so wide open that the morning-line favorite is SINGFIT (#6) at 4-1 (12).
