Peck: Churchill pick four play for Friday, May 1
RACE REPLAY IS NOT AVAILABLENot the easiest of sequences but the general lack of standout favorites should mean a solid payoff:
RACE 4: Going to ultimately use them all in this maiden special weight turf race, which, almost by definition, is fairly difficult to assess. My "A" plays are HEART OF MIDWAY, TAYLOR LANE, COUNTERFACTUAL, MIGHTY SOUPER and CASH IN MY POCKET, as I would like to spread as much as possible in this leg and zero in more on later races.

A's: 1, 3, 5, 7, 9
B's: 4, 12, 13
C's: 2, 6, 8, 10, 11, 14, 15
RACE 5: ENCHANTING LISA makes her first start since November but she has to be respected, based on her figures, and she has been working well enough. DUCASA doesn't have the Beyers of some of these but she does have speed, and there's not a whole lot of pace in here. I want to include her prominently, but budget concerns make her a "B", which could change given a key scratch in one of these legs. I like ELUSIVE FATE based on her Beyers but her propensity to run second makes her a "B" play for the purposes of this ticket.
A's: 7
B's: 4, 5
C's: NONE
RACE 6: SUNSET GLOW is an easy horse to like based on her speed and Beyers. But though she faced top fields she stopped on loose leads in each of her last two. She's an "A" play as the most likely winner of the race, and due to her pace edge, but French import MY YEAR IS A DAY is another who will be on all of my tickets. My thinnest backups will also include QUALITY ROCKS and LADY ZUZU.
A's: 3, 4
B's: NONE
C's: 1, 5
RACE 7: SHEER DRAMA is a virtual must-use on the strength of that win last time in the Royal Delta. GOLD MEDAL DANCER could not repeat against Untapable in the Apple Blossom but she certainly didn't run a bad race. MY MISS SOPHIA could shake loose from her inside post.
A's: 2, 5, 7
B's: NONE
C's: NONE
