Pauls Mill Farm announces 2010 stud fees

Glenye Cain Oakford|Nov 04, 2009

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Pauls Mill Farm, the new operation owned by Mr. and Mrs. Ben Walden, Jr., announced Wednesday that it will keep stud fees the same for Artie Schiller and Bellamy Road.

Artie Schiller, the Breeders' Cup Mile winner in 2005, will stand for $15,000 again in 2010, while 2005 Wood Memorial winner Bellamy Road will stand for $10,000. Both stood for those fees in 2009 when at Hurricane Hall. Artie Schiller, by El Prado, and Bellamy Road, by Concerto, relocated to Pauls Mill this year. Their first foals will be juveniles next year.

Pauls Mill also will introduce a new stallion, Irish champion U S Ranger, in 2010. The 5-year-old Danzig horse will stand for $10,000.

All fees are on stands-and-nurses terms.
