Party Politics, trained by Juan Aleman for a syndicate of his family and friends, won the fourth trial under jockey Ramon Sanchez in 19.96 seconds, which turned out to be the eighth-best time.
Cyber Attack is by Favorite Cartel out of Remember Me Rose, and was purchased for $400,000 at the Ruidoso Select yearling sale in 2021. Cyber Attack’s full sister Temple Court won the sixth trial in 19.93 seconds, setting the fourth-fastest time.
Temple Court, who was ridden by Jose Nicasio, races for owner and breeder Steve Burns and trainer Mike Casselman.
Remember Me Rose had five foals in 2020, all bred via embryo transfer.
Remember Me Rose is the dam of such notable runners as Bomb Cyclone, the winner of the 2021 Los Alamitos Two Million Futurity, and Powerful Favorite, one of the leading older males in recent years. O’Dell and Rosenthal own Bomb Cyclone and Powerful Favorite, full brothers to Cyber Attack and Temple Court.
The other qualifiers for the Golden State Million Futurity are Jeriko (19.70), Hay Shaker (19.92), Flash of Gold (19.93), Political Royalty (19.95), Apollitical Jet (19.954), Aj Born Runnin (19.97) and Wasting Light (20.02).
