Parker wins three stakes on Horseshoe Indianapolis card

Jockey Deshawn Parker won three of the four Thoroughbred stakes run Saturday at Horseshoe Indianapolis, led by No More Fake News in the $200,000 Lady Fog Horn.
Parker also won the $100,000 Indiana Stallion Stakes with Imagine the Moon and the $100,000 Crown Ambassador with Spotonjustice.
The races were restricted to Indiana-breds. The final offering, the $250,000 Unreachable Star, was won by Mr Chaos.
No More Fake News ($4.60) was up for a half-length win over Compressed Energy in the Lady Fog Horn, which was for 3-year-old fillies at a mile. It was another three-quarters of a length back in third to Amazingness.
No More Fake News tracked Compressed Energy through fractions of 25.64 for the opening quarter, 50.03 for the half-mile, and 1:14.74 for six furlongs. No More Fake News covered the mile on a fast track in 1:39.79.
“We didn’t have a lot of early speed to run into, but once she got on the lead, she was game,” Parker said. “My filly really dug in, but [Compressed Energy] was really running late, too. My filly really tried her heart out.”
No More Fake News is a daughter of Notional who was bred by her owner and trainer, Gary Patrick. She has now won 4 of 16 starts for earnings of $267,954.
Imagine the Moon ($9.20) became a stakes winner in her first attempt when she darted home by two lengths over Tizzy Jojo in the Indiana Stallion. The win came following a more than seven-length maiden victory from Imagine the Moon.

Imagine the Moon was always prominent Saturday, through fractions of 22.16 seconds for the opening quarter and 45.45 for the half-mile. Imagine the Moon covered six furlongs in 1:11.02, a time that was a tad quicker than 2-year-old colts and geldings earlier on the card in the Crown Ambassador.
Imagine the Moon is a daughter of Ready’s Image who races for the Rancho Monarca operation of her trainer, Tony Duran, and his wife, Katie. The couple also bred Imagine the Moon.
Spotonjustice ($21.40) pushed the pace in the Crown Ambassador, through fractions of 21.81 seconds for the opening quarter and 45.08 for the half-mile. He covered the six furlongs on a fast track in 1:11.28.
Spotonjustice won by a half-length over Good Forever, while it was another length back in third to favorite Solar Power.
Spotonjustice is a son of Lantana Mob who races for his trainer, Anthony Granitz, and partners Bob Dhondt and Rod O’Kelley.
Mr Chaos ($4.40) moved back into the straight 3-year-old ranks for the Unreachable Star and made all the pace en route to a length win over Too Bad Justice. It was another 3 3/4 lengths back in third to Wire the Cash.
Mr Chaos set fractions of 25.12 for the opening quarter, 48.59 for the half-mile, and 1:12.77 for six furlongs. He covered the mile on a fast track in 1:38.44.
Rodney Prescott was aboard for Robert Dobbs Jr., who trains Mr Chaos for Judy Dorris and Ken Sentel.
Mr Chaos has now won 5 of 10 starts for earnings of $368,594.
