Two starter allowances with six-horse fields headline a seven-race Aqueduct card on Thursday. Race 3, a 1 1/8-mile race for females who have started for a tag of $50,000 or less, figures to come down to Big Dig and Pam Pam. Big Dig, claimed by Joe Sharp for $30,000 on Dec. 4, finished second in this same condition Feb. 13. She was beaten just three-quarters of a length by Fast and Frisky who came back Saturday to win a New York-bred allowance/optional claimer by four lengths. Pam Pam, trained by Jamie Ness, is coming off a win for $25,000 claiming on Feb. 16 at Parx Racing. Race 6, a starter allowance for males, is topped by Carvellian Quest, who was third in this condition on March 1. His Ilkay Kantarmaci-trained stablemate, House United, finished second and came back to win a starter allowance on March 8. :: Want to learn more about handicapping and wagering?
