Our Lost Love leads all the way in Take Charge Brandi Stakes

Our Lost Love broke on top and never looked back for a 1 1/4-length win over West Bank Baby in the $70,000 Take Charge Brandi for 3-year-old fillies Friday night at Delta Downs. The race was one of two restricted stakes on the card. Shes Our Fastest was a three-quarter-length winner over Seeds of Time in the $70,000 Owner Appreciation Distaff.
Our Lost Love ($5) set fractions of 23.57 seconds for the opening quarter and 48.41 for the half-mile on a fast track before covering the seven furlongs run around two turns in 1:28.22.

Our Lost Love, who was winning at two turns for the first time, is a daughter of Half Ours. The Take Charge Brandi was her second career stakes victory. Overall, she is 4 for 7, with earnings of $181,820.
Shes Our Fastest was winning the fifth stakes race of her career in the Distaff, a mile race for fillies and mares that like that Take Charge Brandi was restricted to horses who had run in an overnight race at Delta since the meet opened Oct. 7. The season closes Saturday.
Shes Our Fastest ($8.20) stalked fractions of 22.91 for the opening quarter and 47.18 for the half-mile, advanced through six furlongs in 1:12.69, and went on to cover the distance on a fast track in 1:40.21.
