Opening Buzz should be more effective turning back in WEBN Frog

Opening Buzz is looking for her second stakes victory at Turfway this year in the Friday night feature, the $125,000 WEBN Frog Stakes for female sprinters.
Opening Buzz, a 4-year-old California-bred filly trained by Jonathan Wong for Tommy Town Thoroughbreds, won her first two outings at Turfway with flashy late runs. She took an allowance race by 4 1/2 lengths, followed by a one-length victory in the Wishing Well Stakes in January. Both of those races were at 6 1/2 furlongs. However, she most recently finished sixth in the Wintergreen Stakes at a mile, her late kick less effective at that longer distance.
While Opening Buzz comes from behind, Thunder Love, breaking next to her, is likely to take it to the front end. She has used that style to win back-to-back allowance/optional-claiming races at Turfway.
Awesome Treat comes into the WEBN off three straight runner-up efforts, including to Opening Buzz in the Wishing Well. Altered Shot was third in the Wishing Well and second to Thunder Love in an allowance last out. Quaria Comet, coming off an allowance win; Souper Munnings, making her second start off a long layoff; and Baby No Worries complete the field.
