Red Samurai rallied into second in the stretch but her bid came up 4 3/4 lengths short of Olivia Rose, who prevailed in a time of 1:22.63. Favored Lunch With Bernie edged out Bravo Kate for third in the eight-horse field of 3-year-old fillies.  Olivia Rose had run two straight dull races after romping in the Oct. 28 South Ocean Stakes with an 88 Beyer Speed Figure and jockey Rafael Hernandez said she was back on her game on Saturday.  “We got fast fractions, but you don’t feel like that when you got a good horse,” Hernandez said. “I just let her get her legs underneath her. After that, it was all about her.” Olivia Rose earned $75,000 for owner/breeder Gabe Grossberg. The daughter of Silent Name gave trainer Mark Casse his eighth victory in the race. :: Want to learn more about handicapping and wagering?
