Ol' Drunk Daddy back with own kind in Charles Taylor Derby

Ol’ Drunk Daddy will be getting back with straight 3-year-olds on Saturday night, when he runs in the $55,000 Charles Taylor Derby at The Downs at Albuquerque.
The race, which will be run over 1 1/16 miles, drew a field of six. Others set to start include Wine N Divine, who earlier this year ran fourth to Conquest Mo Money in the $100,000 Mine That Bird Derby, and Outrageous Green, winner of the $30,000 Inaugural in May at Arapahoe Park.
Ol’ Drunk Daddy exits the $150,000 Sunland Park Handicap, which was for 3-year-olds and up April 16. He finished sixth behind winner American Dubai, one start after running third against older horses in an entry-level allowance at Sunland.
