Oh Baby Oh Baby, Pacific Pink aim to keep streaks alive in Eldorado

Oh Baby Oh Baby will be looking for her fourth straight victory, and Pacific Pink will be seeking her third straight stakes win, in the $70,000 Eldorado Stakes on Friday night at Delta Downs. The one-mile race, for older fillies and mares who have never won a stakes race against open company, drew a field of 10.
Oh Baby Oh Baby has won her last three starts by a combined 22 1/2 lengths at Delta Downs, including a 13 1/2-length score in a first-level optional $15,000 claimer in October. She earned a 95 Beyer Speed Figure for that 6 1/2-furlong race, the highest mark in the Eldorado field. Last out Dec. 18, she cruised to a four-length win over fellow Louisiana-breds in the $65,000 Lookout Stakes while never being asked to run hard by jockey Ashley Broussard, who retains the mount for trainer Samuel Breaux.
Pacific Pink came back from a layoff of almost three months Dec. 12 to score by three-quarters of a length over statebreds in the Louisiana Champions Day Ladies at Fair Grounds. Prior to that, she romped by five lengths in the $75,000 Elge Rasberry on turf at Louisiana Downs for trainer Edward J. Johnston. Jockey Eddie Martin Jr. will ride the filly for the first time.
