(3) BABES ALL IN is one of many classy veterans in here who is just shy of being perfect at Ocean this summer when young driver Shane Griffith is in the bike. He’s got a shot to be first to the lead and either cut it or sit a trip behind the logical (1) T DOG or the speedy (6) MEMORY MAKIN. (4) THE LIZARD will be rallying late; the faster the pace the better his chances.
Race 10: NW1001 in last 4 starts Pace
(4) TRIPLE SHOT is just 1 for 16 on the season but that one win came five starts back when he was able to drop to this lowest conditioned class. Last starts he was overmatched in a 1:51 3/5 mile but there’s no chance they go even remotely that fast here. (1) JACK QUICK burned money last week and will be bet heavily again on the move to the rail with Brandon Givens driving again.

More MD Sire Stakes prelims on the card Monday night for 2YO pacers and trotters. These races often include a standout or two so betting cold exotics is the way to go.
Race 1: MDSS 2YO Colts & Geldings Pace
(1) SHOOTOUT has the tactical edge on his main rival (2) CASH IT BETTER, who won by open lengths last week helped by the break of his main competition. (5) OCTAVIAN gets Russell Foster in the bike again which is big, but he’s got the two inside ones to pass which won’t be easy.
Race 3: MDSS 2YO Colts & Geldings Pace
If (2) FREE SHOT minds his manners he wins this race by a hundred lengths. (4) BIG TIME DUDE wasn’t bad in his career debut and will offer value underneath.
Race 5: MDSS 2YO Colts & Geldings Trot
Competitive event where a case can be made for most of them. (4) WINGS OF WARNING added hobbles for his career debut and rallied well late to just miss. Steve Smith is in town and listed to drive again on this gelding that clearly can have more to offer.
