Ocala Breeders' Sales: Fillies by Street Boss, War Front have fastest breeze times
Fillies by Street Boss and War Front had posted the fastest times at their respective breeze distances as the under-tack preview show for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co.’s spring sale of 2-year-olds in training reached roughly its midway point on Wednesday.
The breeze show for next week's OBS spring sale, which has 1,231 juveniles in the catalog, began its seven-session run on Sunday. Through the middle of Wednesday’s fourth session, a Street Boss filly stood alone with the fastest furlong, the traditional measuring stick for these sales in 9 3/5 seconds.
A War Front filly held the bullet quarter in 20 1/5 seconds. Both had worked during Monday's second session on the Ocala Training Center's all-weather Safetrack.

The Street Boss filly, consigned by Grassroots Training and Sales, agent, is the first foal out of the Twirling Candy mare Dazzle. The mare is a full sister to Grade 2-placed Exaulted. Last year's Breeders' Cup Sprint winner Aloha West appears on the catalog page, as does Grade 1 winner and sire Ogygian.
The War Front filly, consigned by agent Eddie Woods, is out of the Candy Ride mare Cinnamon Spice, a half-sister to Grade 1 winner and sire Violence. The filly's fourth dam is Triple Tiara winner and champion Sky Beauty, making this the extended family of champions Dayjur and Gold Beauty, Grade 1 winners Maplejinsky, Pine Island, Pleasant Home, Point of Entry, and Tale of Ekati, and other accomplished runners.
