The fourth day of the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. spring 2-year-olds in training sale finished on Thursday with fillies clocking the fastest times at both an eighth an a quarter-mile. The horses breezed over the Ocala Training Center’s all-weather Safetrack surface. Thursday’s leader at an eighth of a mile was Hip 636, a Shanghai Bobby filly who covered the distance in 9 4/5 seconds. The dark bay or brown filly is out of the stakes-placed Maria's Mon mare Maria's Dance, who is the dam of three winners from five foals to race. Grade 1 winner Ascend is in the extended family, along with Grade 3-placed Ghostly Moves, Moro Tap, and Diamond Spirit. She was bred in Florida by Sally Andersen. Julie Davies consigns the filly, as agent. The filly has been offered at auction twice, first finishing under her reserve with a final bid of $52,000 at last year’s Keeneland September sale. She then came back for the OBS October yearling sale, where she was again an RNA at $42,000. :: Get breeding & sales news, Beyer info, and more delivered right to your email! Bred in Florida by Jacarie Farm, her page also includes South American Group 1 winner Que Vida Buena, Group 2 winners Que Felicidad and Quiet Brazilian, and Group 3 winner Que Clase.  Blue River Bloodstock consigns the filly, as agent.
