OBS Spring 2-year-olds in training sale catalog available online

Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co. has made the catalog for its 2013 spring sale of 2-year-olds in training available online. A total of 1,195 juveniles are cataloged for the four-day sale, which runs from Monday, April 22, through Thursday, April 25. Sessions begin at 10 a.m. Eastern each day.

The online catalog features a sortable master index and pedigree updates. An iPad version of the catalog is also available via the Equineline sales catalog app, which provides users with search, sort, and rating capability.

OBS will hold four under-tack shows corresponding to each session. They will be held from Tuesday, April 16, through Friday, April 19, with each show starting at 8 a.m.

Last year's OBS spring sale of 2-year-olds in training set records for total sales ($33,506,400), average ($43,458), and median ($27,000). Graduates of the 2012 auction have won 32 stakes races to date, led by sale topper and Grade 1 winner Executiveprivilege. Grade 2 Risen Star Stakes winner Ive Struck a Nerve also sold at the 2012 sale.

Graduates of the 2011 sale included dual classic winner and champion I'll Have Another and champion sprinter Trinniberg.
